Featured Pet: Tia

Tia is 12 years old, and a bit of a medical mess, but this pretty girl still deserves a loving home to retire to and enjoy her golden years! Humane Society of West Michigan staff has gone above and beyond helping tiny Tia to feel her best. Tia diabetes, so staff has been giving her regular insulin injections, and she's also blind and missing a few teeth--but you'd never know from her spunky personality! It's like Tia missed the memo that she's an old lady and is supposed to be winding down, this silly girl has a BIG personality, and loves to bark and hop around when she plays! She's currently living it up in her foster home with four cats and two dogs, and her foster mom says that once she trusts you, she's a very snuggly girl.

If you're interested in giving this little old lady the love and care that she needs, please visit our website at hswestmi.org.

Animal Care Artists

HSWM is putting the ‘FUN’ back in fundraiser! For a limited time, they're giving people the opportunity to have a custom portrait of their pet created by a member of the staff or volunteer team. Every portrait will be one of a kind, and good or bad, they’re sure to make you smile! For more information and to sign up, check out the upcoming events section at hswestmi.org/events.

Kibble Konnection Support

Last week HSWM asked the community to donate pet food to the Kibble Konnection program which helps support pantries and families in need in the West Michigan area--and the response was overwhelming! Over the past week, HSWM has received enough food to PACK the shelves full, and they've even had to get creative on how to store the overflow!
