Even the healthiest of people have been knocked down recently due to "what's going around." While many people bounce right back, that's not the case for kids with compromised immune systems.
Many of them rely on the Children's Healing Center to be kids in a very sterile environment, and rely on donations to keep the facility in tip-top shape for those kids. Inspired by pop-up shops, Pop-Up Play transforms a unique space each year into an unexpected playground of fun. This year, guests are invited to “rev their engines” and experience the adrenaline of the SHARPE Jaguar Land Rover Showroom.
Fun will be fueled with crafty cocktails from Black Barrell Bar and whimsical bites from Chef Tommy Fitzgerald while guests learn more about how the Center breaks down barriers of isolation for children with weakened immune systems and their families.
The Children’s Healing Center is focused on one thing: breaking down barriers of isolation for kids with weakened immune systems and their families. In just four short years, the Center has served more than 1,660 members with multiple diagnosis types by providing fun, educational and creative programming in its germ-free facility – all at no cost to them.
The event will take place on March 18 from 6 - 9 p.m. The event cost $150 per person.
