Medical Coordination Center to activate amidst COVID-19

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Early Sunday evening, the Michigan Region 6 Healthcare Coalition announced that they have opened their Medical Coordination Center (MCC) in response to the current COVID-19 threat.

The main office for the center is in Leahy Street in Muskegon, and will cover 13 michigan counties. These include Clare County, Ionia County, Isabella County, Kent County, Lake County, Mason County, Mecosta County, Montcalm County, Muskegon County, Newago County, Oceana County, Osceola County, Ottawa County

Members of the Region 6 Healthcare Coalition, which include but are not limited to hospitals, EMS, long-term care, and home health agencies, may contact the MCC for assistance in preparation and response to this current threat. This includes assistance with obtaining Personal Protective Equipment and Technical Knowledge.
