Tonight's Forecast: Decreasing clouds and cold

WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Anthony Domol: Decreasing clouds can be expected this evening and overnight resulting in cold temperatures bottoming out in the low 30s by daybreak Wednesday. Frost can be expected. A much sunnier picture is anticipated for tomorrow with abundant sunshine and milder readings pushing back into the low 50s by day's end. Another cooler and, at times, cloudier phase arrives for Thursday into Friday before strong southerly flow sends the mercury back into the mid 50s for Halloween Saturday under a good deal of sunshine. Yet another surge of chill blasts into West Michigan overnight Saturday into Sunday morning bringing about a few lake-enhanced rain and snow showers for the back half of the weekend. Good news: a more significant warm-up appears on track for Election week

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs in the lower 50s. Southwest winds at 10-15 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Becoming partly to mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid to upper 30s. Southwest winds shift to the north at 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 40s. Northeast winds at 10-20 mph.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 40s.
