WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Ty Shesky: Sunshine and heat will be the main story as we head into the first few weeks of July. A ridge of high pressure will assure mainly rain-free conditions over the extended forecast. Very limited to almost zero rain is expected into and past the holiday weekend. If the heat sets your eyes on Lake Michigan, good news is it will be nice and calm all week.
