GRAND RAPIDS — West Michigan had light snow around Sunday morning giving minor accumulations adding some more light fluffy snow. Bitter cold temperatures continues feeling like the single digits or even below zero. Much of this Sunday will be dry and mostly cloudy with freezing cold temperatures.

Tonight our next round of snow arrives. Lighter snow with minor accumulations, but still snow none the less. Plan to slow your travel down especially Monday morning as there can still be impacts out on the roadways. We are expected to gain another 1-2 inches of snowfall with the most along and west of US-131.

Again Monday night into Tuesday another round of snow will push in to West Michigan. This system will focus on our southern communities with the heaviest snow landing along and south of I-96 and even the lakeshore if we get enough lake influence. Expect 1-3 inches of snowfall by the time we get into midday on Tuesday.
