GRAND RAPIDS — West Michigan woke up to some sunshine Saturday morning but we will see increased cloud cover throughout the day leading into rain chances later this evening. We will have temperatures in the lower 80s with a bit of humidity. Plan on rain moving in from south to north with increased chances as we get closer and closer to sunshine .

We will continue to have shower and storm chances off and on over the next couple of days. cloud cover will ultimately rule over this time frame and no storms currently are expected to be severe. We expect to gain about a half an inch to an inch of rainfall from Sunday evening to Tuesday. We will hold on to our damp forecast through Tuesday.

Temperatures cool off into the 70s this week and stay below average until next weekend. By the end of the week we will dry out and slow work back to full sunshine and see the lower 80s again by next Friday. Enjoy!
