GRAND RAPIDS — A frost advisory will go into place Thursday overnight in Friday from 2 o'clock in the morning through 8 o'clock. Oceana, Newaygo, Mecosta, Lake, Mason, Osceola, Clare and Isabella counties are all under this advisory. Temperatures can fall back into the upper 30s to lower 40s and even cooler as you travel more north where a Freeze Warning will be in place.
Daytime highs on Friday will struggle to make to 60 degrees and then again Friday overnight into Saturday we will have a similar set up with mostly clear skies and below average temperatures. Expect the upper 30s on average with some spots possibly dipping back into the lower and mid 30s. Make sure to protect any outdoor plants or vegetation you want to save for the next few nights. Early next week we will warm back up towards seasonable temperatures for this time of year.
