MICHIGAN — The DNR has elevated the fire risk for Michigan due to dry and hot conditions across the state.
Nearly the entire state is in the high to very high for fire risk. DNR officials are urging people to use caution during the holiday weekend and have water available when using fireworks.
They also say never to leave a fire unattended.
