GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Have you been down lately not having much sunshine around?
Many people across West Michigan are missing the sunshine as we have had cloud cover dominating our forecast. In fact, according to the National Weather Service, 15 out of the last 19 days we have had zero sunshine.
We are in some of the cloudiest months of the year and noticing it! The National Weather Service reported we only had one day in the last 19 with above 50 percent of sunshine, which was on Wednesday.
All the cloud cover is due to living in our mid latitude region and of course the lake playing a big factor with lake effect cloud cover. If you are searching for any sunshine unfortunately you won't find much in our current forecast anytime soon.
