GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Catholic Central jumped out to an early 10-3 lead against Forest Hills Northern until the Huskies went on a run. Northern started on an 11-0 tilt in the first half and eventually continued the run in the third quarter, outscoring the Cougars 19-3. Guard Morgan Robertson would lead the Huskies to a 63-32 win with her 20 point performance.

"Morgan is a three year starter, she leads our team on the floor," head coach Jim Sprague said, "that's a breakout game for her. She's the first one in the gym and last one to leave, working on every aspect of her game, we roll when Morgan rolls."

Faith Walker also added nine points and 18 rebounds in the win.

"Faith is no secret," Sprague added, "she's strong down low."

Robertson gives credit to her teammates after her 20 point effort.

"My teammates did a really good job of finding me when I was open and I was feeling it so I kept shooting it," she said, "it felt really good. I think we just gathered ourselves, talked about what we needed to do and got it together, we went from there."
