ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a crash involving a semi in Ottawa County.
It happened at 2:05 p.m. at the intersection of Adams Street and 88th Avenue in Zeeland Township.
Authorities say the semi was going west on Adams Street when a vehicle pulled in front of it trying to make a turn and caused a crash. The impact sent the car off the road and into a neighboring driveway.
The car’s driver, 20-year-old Hervinder Kaur of Holland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi involved is a 28-year-old man from the Allegan area, deputies say.
