UPDATE: As of 9:45 a.m., power has been restored.
WYOMING, Mich. — Thousands of Consumers Energy customers are waking up without power Thursday in Kent County.
As of 8:45 a.m., nearly 4,000 customers are without power.
The outage was caused by an animal and power is expected to be restored by 10:30 a.m., according to the outage map.
