GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened early Wednesday morning.
The robbery happened at the Huntington Bank at 44th Street SE and Stauffer just after opening at 9:00 a.m.. There are no reports of any injuries. No customers were in the bank at the time.
Police say two suspects entered the bank and demanded cash. They left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police describe the suspects as black men in their 20's, about 6'2" tall and between 180 and 200 lbs. One was dressed in all black clothing except for white tennis shoes. The other was wearing a red and black jacket and dark pants. Surveillance photos are expected at a later time.
Police say a K9 unit attempted to track the suspects, but were not successful. They also say they don't know for certain if the suspects were armed.
