COLOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — All lanes of eastbound I-94 at I-196 at the 37 mile marker were close due to a crash, according to Michigan State Police.
It was reported around 1:37 p.m. on Friday.
The crash reportedly involved two semi-tractor trailers and a pick-up truck. The driver of the pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from the Coloma Township Police Department. Police say the other two drivers were not hurt.
Drivers were detoured to northbound I-196 to Red Arrow Highway.
Police have not released the name of the driver who died and the crash remains under investigation.
