The new public awareness campaign is reminding drivers to focus solely on driving when behind the wheel.
A recent study showed that 41% of drivers between the ages of 20 and 30 admitted to texting or checking email while driving. Anyone caught texting while driving faces a first time fine of $100 and fines of $200 for any offense after that.
MSP is sharing information on social media with the hashtags #JustDrive and #DistractedDriving.
