GRAND RAPIDS TWP., Mich. – The Kent County Sheriff’s office is investigating after a 25-year-old intoxicated man lost control of his vehicle and ended up in Dean Lake.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Dean Lake Avenue at 4 Mile Road.
Deputies say the driver was traveling northbound on Dean Lake Avenue at a high rate of speed and tried to pass another vehicle when he lost control.
The man was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated.
We’re told one of his arms were broken as a result of the accident and he was taken to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.
His name has not yet been released and no word on any charges he may face.
