Entry to the College Gameday 'footprint' is free and open to the general public. Gameday is set up in the pedestrian mall and green space in front of Sangren Hall. The show runs live from 9:00am until Noon, but ESPN Sportscenter will be taking live shots from the set starting at 7:30am.
The event is alcohol-free. On Saturday morning, ESPN will allow a limited number of fans into "The Pit" at 6:30am. Access to "The Pit" is solely determined by ESPN. "The Pit" will hold about 500 people. In "The Pit":
- Fans will be checked by security
- No signs on sticks
- No offensive, vulgar or inappropriate signs
- No pens, pencils, markers or dry erase boards
- No alcohol or other food or drinks
- No throwing of any objects
Parking is available in several lots on campus and are free. As soon as Game Day is over, they will be normal WMU game day lots.
The football game vs. the Buffalo Bulls is at 3:30pm. Tickets for the game start at $20. ESPN College Game Day is not considered tailgating and other normal tailgating policies are in place. Parking lots open four hours before kickoff for tailgating.
