MICHIGAN — Lottery officials say a Kalamazoo woman plans to go on vacation after winning a $1 million jackpot from the Michigan Lottery.
The winner, who wasn’t named, scored the prize by playing the Deluxe 7s Instant Game, according to a press release from the Michigan Lottery. The woman purchased the winning ticket from the Sunny Liquor Store in the 3100 block of South Westnidge in Kalamazoo.
She chose to accept the one time lump sum payment of $634,000 and officials say she plans to buy a vacation home with her winnings.
The new scratch off game reportedly debuted in August.
