GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Today is the last day to participate in McDonald’s “Give a Hand” campaign.
300 McDonald’s locations across Michigan are selling Red and White striped mittens at just five dollars a pair. Proceeds go to support the Ronald McDonald house in Grand Rapids which offers extended housing for families with children receiving medical care.
The campaign benefits many West Michigan families who are a part of the Ronald McDonald House.
The 17- bedroom house is free of charge to its residents, so your help is needed to cover expenses.
Nearly 600 families stay in the home each year.
