5 people shot in downtown Seattle, seemingly not related to Trump protest

SEATTLE, Wash. — Five people were shot in downtown Seattle Wednesday night after an anti-Trump protest marched through according to reports.

A Seattle TV station says the shooting took place on 3rd Street Avenue between Pike and Pine sometime after anti-Trump protesters marched through the area. Police are reportedly looking for two suspects.

The Seattle Fire Department reports that 2 of their patients suffer from life-threatening injuries.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets across several major cities Wednesday night after it was announced Republican Donald Trump will be the 45th President of the United States.
