CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP, Mich.— A 29-year-old man from Rodney is recovering from non-life threatening injuries following an accident Saturday afternoon.
It happened just before 1:30pm on 20 Mile Rd. near 60th Ave. in Mecosta County. Deputies say the driver suffered a medical issue and passed out.
His passenger tried to stop the vehicle. But before she could, it went off the road and hit some landscaping rocks.
Both were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
