DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. (AP) — More details have emerged about the criminal record of a man suspected of killing two young children and two teenagers at his Detroit-area home.
Gregory V. Green was released from prison in 2008 after serving 16 years for second-degree murder. He had pleaded no contest in Wayne County court.
Corrections Department spokesman Chris Gautz says Green was charged with fatally stabbing his pregnant wife in 1991.
In Dearborn Heights, police say a man called 911 early Wednesday to report that he had killed four people in his home. Green was arrested when officers arrived. His current wife, Faith Green, was stabbed and shot but is expected to survive.
She had filed for divorce in August.
