Crashes disrupt morning commute

WEST MICHIGAN – Wednesday morning is starting off with some crashes on area roadways.

Injuries were reported in a crash about 7:30am at on Breton Road and Barfield Drive SE.  Police tell our crew at the scene that the driver of a Jeep pulled out in front of a car on Breton.  Three people in the car, including a three-year-old child, suffered non-life threatening injuries.  The child suffered a broken nose.  The driver of the Jeep was not injured.  The scene was cleared shortly after 8:30am.

48th Avenue and Byron Road

Aero Med was initially launched and then called off for a head-on crash on Byron Road at 48th Avenue at about 8:15am.   Ottawa County deputies report that a Byron Center man was killed in that crash.
