OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — One of the men suspected of an armed robbery at a Peppino’s restaurant was arraigned Wednesday.
Brad Scott Bree, 31, is being charged with larceny of a firearm, per online jail records. He and a 27-year-old man from Kent County were arrested Friday on warrants unrelated to the August 31 armed robbery at the Allendale Peppino’s Sports Grill on Lake Michigan Drive.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies say two men robbed a Peppino’s employee as he was getting into his car after his shift ended. He says he was approached by two men – one of whom was holding a hand gun. No one was hurt, but the men got away with cash.
Bree is being held on a $500,000 cash bond.
The investigation continues. Deputies say charges pertaining to the armed robbery are in the works.
