Sailor Salute highlights Week 2 of the Blitz

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — Mona Shores is hosting Zeeland West in the game of the week for week two on the Blitz.

The Sailors will be honoring military, police, fire and medical personnel with the “Sailor Salute.”  They are expecting 1300 hundred people on the field to sing  God Bless America, their will be a parade of motorcycles as well as a flyover and more.

Zeeland West (26-1) and Mona Shores (23-2) are two of the most successful programs in the state the last two years.

Godwin Heights (1-0) hosts Hesperia (1-0) in the Blitz Battle, both programs had succcessful campaigns last year and have new head coaches in 2016.
