MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — An inmate at the Muskegon County jail died after a heart attack, according to the sheriff.
Sheriff Dean Roesler says Muskegon deputies found an inmate experiencing a medical episode Thursday at 6:50 p.m.
CPR was performed on the subject, who was rushed to the hospital, where the inmate was pronounced dead at 7:40 p.m.
The name of the subject is being held pending family notification.
An autopsy will be scheduled.
