Lately with the sun up in the sky, the weather's been too nice to stay indoors. You can have a good time outside at theHoward Christensen Nature Centerwith a bunch of events they have coming up.
On September 8, learn some new recipes at Mom's Night Out. That night you can assemble four frozen meals that can be pulled from the freezer and thrown into the oven for a great meal on a busy night. There are two more classes after that in November and January. It's $35 for the class, or $75 for all three classes.
On October 9, HCNC is hosting their 3rd Annual Red Pine Run. Everyone of all ages can participate in this 5k race and win some prizes or a medal on the nature trails at the HCNC. Registration is now open.
Can't wait that long to go to visit? Camp Lily's Retreat Center is now open. Camp Lily's Retreat Center can host private or exclusive events so the whole gang can enjoy nature.
