Trigger Finger is a painful condition that limits finger movement. It's a relatively common hand condition where patients will describe a locking or catching of the finger, particularly first thing in the morning.
While the specific cause of it is unknown, there are factors that make people at greater risk of developing Trigger Finger.
This condition is more common in people with diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, and in women.
The Spectrum Health Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Center is located at 4100 Lake Drive Southeast.
