HOLLAND, Mich. – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s office is crediting a Pokémon Go player with getting an intoxicated driver off the street.
Captain Mark Bennett tells FOX 17 that a man playing the addictive smartphone-based game found the driver, unconscious, behind the wheel of a vehicle along Beeline Road and Ann Street over the weekend. The man called police at about 6:00pm Saturday evening.
The female driver was arrested and taken to the hospital for treatment. She faces criminal charges.
