ZEELAND, Mich - Nothing spells 4th of July like grilling out on the barbecue and FOX 17 Weekend Morning News has you covered if you're not sure where to start or how to spice things up this summer.
Chef Len with American Char said starting with fresh meat is key and using a dry rub on ribs about two hours prior to grilling will give them the best flavor.
He also said you need to stay safe this summer by keeping a fire extinguisher handy at all times, going easy on the lighter fluid, watching your grill, and keeping some water near by.
