GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A Grand Rapids Police Bomb Team investigated a suspicious situation at a downtown parking ramp Monday afternoon.

Grand Rapids Parking Services contacted police after a situation last night at the ramp underneath City Hall at 300 Monroe NW.  According to police, parking services asked a person to leave the ramp because of their unusual behavior.  As the person left, they made threats that there was a vehicle in the ramp that was rigged with weapons.

Monday, parking services noted that the vehicle was still parked in the ramp. Police investigated and shut down the ramp for about an hour Monday afternoon.  Nothing suspicious was found in the vehicle.

Police are still trying to find the owner of the vehicle.
