KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Growlers baseball team is helping the Kalamazoo Strong organization tonight.
Kalamazoo Strong was created after the mass shooting that killed six people in February, to help the families in that tragedy. They are also now helping the families of five bicyclists who were killed in June 7 when a pickup truck ran into a group of nine riders on north Westnedge.
Anyone attending tonight’s game, which starts at 7:05pm, will have $7 donated to the Kalamazoo Strong group. There is also a silent auction during the game to raise money for the victims.
