PORTAGE, Mich. – A woman suffered only minor injuries after the kayak she was operating was hit by a motorboat Wednesday.
The crash happened on Long Lake at about 2:00pm. The motorboat was driven by a 69-year-old Richland man, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff.
The Portage woman suffered minor injuries and refused treatment. Her kayak was also damaged.
