SAUGATUCK TWP., Mich. - A standoff overnight after a domestic violence issue ended rather bizarrely Wednesday morning.
Allegan deputies were called to a home on 128th Avenue in Saugatuck Township on reports of shots being fired during a domestic dispute. No one was hurt, but the suspect was believed to be inside with weapons. Extra officers and a SWAT team with negotiators were called to the scene.
While they were trying to contact the suspect through the phone and loudspeakers, a man came riding up to the scene on a bicycle. He ended up being the suspect they thought was inside the home.
He was taken into custody without incident.
