MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — An elderly driver was injured after passing a farm tractor and crashing at midday Saturday.
At 12:50 p.m. Saturday, Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a one-vehicle rollover with injuries at the intersection of Five Mile Road and 40th Avenue. The investigation showed that a 77-year-old Mount Pleasant man was passing a farm tractor when his vehicle went through the T intersection and rolled over.
The driver was transported by EMS to a hospital in Mount Pleasant with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
