HOLLAND, Mich. -- New dashcam footage released by the Holland Department of Public Safety shows the moments leading up to a fatal crash following a chase.

It happened the night of May 24. Holland officers spotted Jeremy Hudson, 33, allegedly speeding out of an apartment complex on Stratford Way near 12th Street. A stop was attempted but Hudson refused to pull over.

Hudson continued westbound on 8th Street through a green light before approaching the intersection at US-31. Despite there being a red light, Hudson drove through, ultimately colliding with two other vehicles.

Hudson was not wearing a seat belt, and died after being ejected from his vehicle.

The occupants of the other vehicles suffered minor injuries.
