FLAT ROCK, Mich. — A Michigan cemetery is in need of repairs after a visit from vandals over the Memorial Day weekend.

Some of the gravestones at Vreeland Cemetery in Flat Rock were broken in half. It was started by Revolutionary War patriot, Michael Vreeland.  It was the original burial site for him and his family.

In the above video, WDIV reporter Guy Gordon shows us how it is one man’s mission to put everything back together.

The Flat Rock Historical Society is accepting donations to help cover the costs for repairs. They can be reached at 734-730-3213.
