KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A Kalamazoo man was arrested Wednesday night for having a stolen gun.
Around 8:40 p.m. officers responded to the scene near Burdick and Ransom where a victim claimed a man was armed with a gun and pointed it in their face. When officers approached the suspect, he dropped the weapon and was taken into police custody.
It turned out that the gun was a highpoint .45 that had been stolen from Grant, Michigan.
The thirty-year-old Kalamazoo resident was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, felonious assault and possession of a firearm. His identity is not yet being released.
