The Heart of West Michigan United Way needs help for an upcoming event, Food From the Heart.
On Tuesday June 21, which is also United Way's Day of Action, volunteers will gather to assemble protein-enriched, read-to-make meals for local families.
United Way needs 300 volunteers to help package 60,000 servings of food.
The event will take place on the floor of Van Andel Arena. There are two shifts available to volunteer for, 10-11:30am and 12-1:30pm.
