LOS ANGELES – TMZ.com is reporting a woman got quite a surprise at the Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood concert Thursday.
According to TMZ, the woman was the four millionth person to have purchased a ticket to his concert and was given two new cars, a $5,000 shopping spree and a trip to Las Vegas for four people. Brooks is also apparently paying off her student loans.
Brooks talks about selling the four millionth ticket on the current tour in a Facebook video he posted on Thursday night from backstage at the Van Andel Arena.
Brooks and Yearwood played six concerts at the Van Andel Arena this weekend – one on Thursday, two on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. More than 10,000 fans were expected at each show.
FOX 17 reached out to a representative for Garth Brooks who said they could not comment on TMZ’s report. A call to the Van Andel Arena has yet to be returned.
