COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. -- Through the first ten batters of Monday's game, The West Michigan Whitecaps didn't have a base runner.

The second time through the order seemed to do the trick.

The Whitecaps plated four runs in the fourth inning and another five in the sixth, sparking West Michigan to a 9-3 win against the Lake County Captains. It's the first home win of the season for the Whitecaps (6-5.)

Seven different players had at least one RBI for West Michigan, who got six innings of one-run ball from starting pitcher Eudis Idrogo.
