GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Symphony is honoring the legendary David Bowie with a summer concert.
In a Facebook post, the Symphony says that conductor Brent Havens will lead the Grand Rapids Pops and a full rock band on a “musical odyssey” of Bowie’s hits, including “Space Oddity,” “Changes,” “Under Pressure,” “Heroes,” “China Girl,” and more.
The show is part of the 2016 D&W Fresh Market Picnic Pops Series at the Cannonsburg Ski Area. Bowie died in January at age 69.
