Deputies say they worked with agents from the Michigan Department of Corrections to make compliance checks on individuals on parole and probation. They focused on three areas: Three Rivers, Fabius Township, and Lockport Township, and of the seven locations they checked, five arrests were made. Charges against those arrested include heroin possession, operating and maintaining a meth lab, marijuana possession, possession of prescription controlled substances, and maintaining a drug house.

Charges are also being sought against others not in custody on similar charges.
