THREE RIVERS, Mich. – Extra police were on hand at Three Rivers Middle School Wednesday after a threat of a shooting was made on a social media platform.

Investigators determined there was no viable threat to the students or the school, but police maintained a presence at the school today as a precaution. School was not closed.
