GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A new event combining barbecue and whiskey for a good cause was launched Wednesday night.
Hospice of Michigan launched the Barley, Barbecue and Beats music festival and fundraiser Wednesday at Long Road Distillers in Grand Rapids. The event will be on May 21st at the Van Andel Arena.
The event will feature local bands and barbecue and whiskey from Michigan distillers.
The event is an expansion of the annual John Clay Memorial Barbecue, which is May 13th at Miller Welding Supply.
