NORTON SHORES, Mich. – A clerk at Mona Shores Middle School was arrested Wednesday morning for alleged misconduct while she was in charge of dispensing student medications.
The school posted a letter sent to parents on their Facebook page.
The letter states that Shelly Dykstra was arrested by Norton Shores Police after the school worked with investigators regarding school medication counts and inventory. Dykstra regularly dispensed prescription medication to students as part of her job, according to the school.
The issue has been turned over to the Norton Shores Police Department.
