ALLENDALE, Mich. —  Two people were hospitalized Tuesday after a three-vehicle crash in Allendale.

The crash happened at about 7:33 a.m. at Filmore and 72nd Avenue, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.    Police say a 22-year-old Hudsonville man was driving north on 72nd when he ran a stop sign and vehicle driven by a 75-year-old Allendale man.

The Allendale man was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected during the crash.  His vehicle also struck a westbound car that was stopped and waiting to turn onto 72nd.

The 22-year-old man was pinned into his vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency responders, according to the sheriff’s department.  Both he and the other man were hospitalized and are currently in stable condition.
