POINT OUTLOOK, MO. — Davenport nearly erased a 15-point halftime deficit to Indiana Wesleyan, but fell just short in the NAIA Division II national semifinals on Monday night in a 66-65 loss.
Kevin Rich led all scorers with 21 points for the Panthers. Nick Gamble added 16 points.
Davenport jumped out to a 10-4 lead early in the first half, but were outscored 36-15 until halftime.
The Panthers are now 0-3 in national semifinal games.
