WEST MICHIGAN — The latest winter storm is diminishing but not after leaving a significant blanket of snow.
In Hastings, between 11-12 inches of snow were reported. Between 6-12 inches of snow were reported over West Michigan with the heaviest along and south of I-96. The airport in Grand Rapids set a new record for today with 7.1″ as of 7 pm. The old record for March 1 was 2.4″ set back in 2014. Muskegon also set a record with 3.5″ as of 7 pm. The old record was 3.4″ for March 1 set back in 2005.
Hard to believe but temperatures will be near 60 degrees by next Tuesday.
